On December 5, 2024, an All-hands project meeting was held at the Polissia National University, dedicated to the launch of the project “Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competencies for the Restoration of Ukraine”, which is being implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ program in the field of capacity building in higher education. Ensuring the sustainability and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine is closely related to the principles of sustainable development. Therefore, training specialists with the necessary competencies in the field of sustainable development management is an important task for Ukrainian higher education institutions. The implementation of this task will reach a qualitatively new level thanks to the support of partners from EU universities and the synergy of efforts of the participating teams within the framework of the SUSTED project.
The meeting was attended by delegations of Ukrainian partner universities of the project (Polissia National University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, West Ukrainian National University, Higher Educational Institution “Podillia State University”), as well as in a distance format – representatives of partner universities from the EU (the Haag University of Applied Science, the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin, the Danubius University, IDEA Academy).
The meeting laid the foundations for the implementation of the project and contributed to the coordination of efforts to implement the project objectives.
