West Ukrainian National University (WUNU) – is a classical university of Ternopil, a leading modern educational institution. Having studied in a competitive environment, WUNU graduates become leaders and high-class professionals in economics, law, finance, and environment education. WUNU has a track record in offering Lifelong Learning (LLL) programs and is recognized as the first university in Ukraine with an immersive multifunctional hub. WUNU is strengthening and expanding its participation in the projects under the Erasmus+ auspices and in government initiatives. Currently, the university is implementing several projects under Jean Monnet, the KA2 strand (Erasmus+ Programme) and DAAD. The involvement with WUNU has facilitated the development of a spectrum of competencies encompassing educational and research pursuits, effective communication, and collaboration with local authorities and businesses. These competencies are essential for engaging in collaborative project initiatives that focus on cultivating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem with a green orientation and addressing challenges related to the establishment of new enterprises. The project’s concept aligns closely with the developmental needs of the region, emphasizing the promotion of social entrepreneurship, the integration of contemporary green business concepts, and the attainment of sustainable development objectives at both regional and national levels. By augmenting educational elements designed to enhance students’ technical and interpersonal proficiencies in fostering environmentally conscious economic growth, and by introducing the concept of a green university, the project aims to fortify sustainable development and expedite post-war recovery efforts. WUNU’s engagement in the initiative is anticipated to enhance its role as a dependable partner in education, scientific inquiry, the creation of societal values, and the advancement of social entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on the green economy.
