Polissia National University, established in 1922, is among leading HEIs in Polissia region of Ukraine. Mission of the university – training a professional elite and forming an expert ecosystem for sustainable regional development – reflects commitment to the ideas of progressive and sustainable growth of the society. The modern scientific activity of the Polissia National University is aimed at conducting fundamental and applied research in agriculture and veterinary medicine, social, economic, technical, mathematical and natural sciences. The university has a developed infrastructure and a powerful material and technical base; provides BSc, MSc and PhD programs in economics, national security, international and public management and administration, forestry and agricultural engineering, ecology, veterinary medicine, etc. More than a century of the university’s experience has provided a number of competencies (in the field of education and research, communications and partnership with local authorities and business) necessary to participate in joint academic initiatives at the national and international levels, coordinate project activities, ensure a high level of project management with respect for common values and priorities, contributions and efforts of partners.
